A & R Roofing, Inc. can install either an EPDM rubber flat roofing system or a Modified Bitumen hot asphalt flat roofing system. EPDM is a rubber membrane which is applied with an adhesive that sticks to the roof, or is loose-laid and covered with ballast for proper wind uplift. Modified Bitumen hot asphalt is hot-mopped to the roof. A & R Roofing, Inc. always installs flat roofing systems with tapered systems to ensure proper drainage. Our maintenance programs offer building owners and managers thorough, regularly-scheduled annual or biannual inspections which involve: physical inspection of an existing roofing system to determine its current condition and detect weaknesses and failures; identify any potential future problems; cleaning of drains, scuppers and downspouts; minor repair to roof areas. We assist owners and building managers in protecting their roofing investment by seeking to identify damage in its early stages. Early detection of leaks and roofing system failures make it possible for us to extend the life of a roofing system through repair or restoration, which is significantly less expensive and time-consuming than re-roofing. We also offer custom metal fabrication for flashings and gutters with our computerized Autobrake 2000 CNC Sheet Metal Bending Machine, which bends metal down to 16 gauge galvanized steel.
